Bomb Squad – the mission that tests whether your team gets along

Some groups say they communicate really well. Then the countdown starts...

Bomb Squad is a team mission against the clock for 2 to 6 players. For about 60 minutes, the group has to coordinate information, react fast and work out one important thing: talking at the same time is not the same as communicating.

How Bomb Squad works (no spoilers)

The experience is made up of four rooms and a sequence of physical and mental challenges. The aim is not to tell you what happens inside. It is precisely the opposite: arriving without knowing is part of the experience.

What we can say is that nobody wins alone. There are moments when you need to observe, others when you need to act, and a few when the best idea is to listen to the person nobody was paying attention to.

Why it works so well as a group activity

A good group activity creates a shared task and gives each person a reason to take part. In Bomb Squad, the group is not just sharing the same space: it is trying to solve the same problem with the clock running.

  • It creates real cooperation: there is information and tasks that have to pass between people.
  • It mixes profiles: speed, attention, logic and communication don’t always show up in the same person.
  • It gives you something to talk about afterwards: when the mission ends, the analysis begins of who saved the team and who nearly brought it down.
  • It works for friends and work teams without changing the essence of the game.

Everyone on the team has a role. It’s not always the one you expected.

There is the strategist who wants to organise everything, the impulsive one who has already pressed before hearing the instruction, and the quiet person who, halfway through, realises exactly what is missing. It is this swapping of roles that makes Bomb Squad work socially and makes every group different.

What you need to know before you play

  • Teams are made up of 2 to 6 players.
  • The session lasts approximately 60 minutes and start times are at regular intervals.
  • The minimum age is 7; under-15s play with an adult, unless there is at least one participant aged 15+ on the team.
  • Customers and content creators may not photograph or film inside the rooms or publicly share details of the puzzles.
  • Always check availability and the conditions in force when you book.

And after the mission?

The debate can carry on at Level Lounge. Food, drinks, air hockey, foosball and arcades give the group room to recover its dignity… or to prove that the problem was that colleague who “was sure”!
